Gangster Land is an entertaining crime drama with a solid cast and a brisk pace. It's a shame it's all over so quickly so we don't really get to feel for anyone but it's always nice to see a new indie genre flick that does the best it can with limited funds.

Definitely a must-see if you haven’t seen any of the other versions or read the original story. However, if you have, you can skip it unless you really want to see what Kenneth Branagh does with it.
