The Lego Batman Movie is entertaining for younger viewers and older Batfans will enjoy the references/in-jokes but it isn't particularly memorable nor as hilarious as it could have been.

La La Land is a mostly uplifting, funny and heartfelt story of two people trying to reach their dreams but fall in love with each other along the way. It's nicely acted with catchy tunes even for people (like me) who hate musicals.

Passengers was enthralling and spectacular with engaging characters, beautiful visuals and a stellar music score. It may be a little slow in parts but I loved it.
