One of the unheralded coming of age dramas of all time, Vincent Ward's Vigil is certainly not for all tastes, especially if you're not used to watching films from around the world.

I loved it because it made me laugh hard, and no matter how studiously anyone on earth may try to duplicate a great "bad movie," they'll never be able to duplicate this great bad movie. It's just ... perfect. If you can watch it with friends or a crowd, I highly - very highly - recommend you do so.

An intriguing erotic mystery based on a novel by Max Ehrlich, The Reincarnation of Peter Proud "peters" out a bit by the end, but the journey Proud takes to find out who he evidently used to be is the fun of the movie.

This new DEATH WISH is no classic, but it's an old-school action movie.

The movie's complete lack of momentum and excitement is occasionally alleviated whenever the creature shows up, but even then it's difficult to stay excited for more than a moment or two at a time.

I've seen this movie so many times over the years, but this was the first time where I felt like it looked brand new with vibrant colors and light. A plethora of special features (commentaries, documentaries, etc.) are included for the true fan.

What could have easily turned into a horror show due to its very sensitive subject matter, Savannah Smiles eventually won me over with its sweet heart.
