Live By Night doesn't exactly change the gangster genre and the story is quite predictable but I still enjoyed it for what it was and though the climactic shoot out was satisfyingly bloody.
The Shack is a little too long and heavy handed with its message but I found it uplifting and moving with a story we could all relate to.
